Counterparts
This exhibit of work, “Counterparts,” is a stream of paintings depicting stories of counterparts, ideas and dreams which fit together perfectly or intentionally not. The concepts suggest strong relationships, in both form and imagery, which repel or attract. These paintings about counterparts have evolved from the artist’s mental network, her emotions, being a twin, a history of events, influences, sensations, and people which have initiated strong reactions in the artist’s life.
